Our professional seamstresseses have years of experience altering wedding gowns and will tailor your wedding dress to fit your body perfectly. They can address specific concerns such as adjusting the hemline, taking in or letting out the dress, or modifying details like sleeves and neckline.

Time to Save
Our alteration appointments have no service charge! Your alterations will be billed with a deposit, 50% at the end of the first appointment and 50% when you pickup your dress!

Do you offer wedding gown alterations?
Yes! We are proud to be Ottawa's ONE STOP WEDDING SHOP with a full range of products and services, including alterations & cleaning, to make your wedding dress shopping journey easy and affordable.
Alterations cost depend greatly on condition of the gown, sizing relative to your body, and your wedding date. We do offer alterations in-store with our incredible partnered seamstress! We prioritize our couples, but do accept alteration appointments on dresses that were purchased outside of our boutique.
How do I book an alteration appointment
We can only accept so many alterations clients per year! You can submit a request here, if we are able to alter your gown in the timeline, we will reach out to you with booking information
Do you alter other formalwear?
Yes! We also alter womens formalwear, bridesmaid dresses, and MOG/MOB gowns. At this time, we cannot alter suits.
What should I budget for alterations?
Alterations cost depend greatly on condition of the gown, sizing relative to your body, and your wedding date. The general range is from $350-$800.
We are unable to provide alteration quotes virtually. If you would like a quote prior to a committed first appointment, please call to book a consultation. The cost of the consultation is $50, non-refundble, but can be credited towards alteration services.
When should I request a bridal alteration appointment?
As soon as you purchase your wedding gown, you can secure your spot! We will reach out to you within 4 months of your wedding to get your first appointment booked.
Rush Fees
2024 Rush Fees will apply to all wedding gowns that are required to be finished in LESS THAN 3 MONTHS AWAY . The 2024 rate is $250.00 in addition to the alterations needed.
Can you customize my gown?
Absolutely! Small changes like adding sleeves, removing buttons, or adding bustle do not require consultation prior to your appointment.
