At Never Knew I Needed, Ottawa's largest off the rack bridal shop, we love to receive our Bride and Nearlyweds wedding photos. It is even better when it features one of our favourite wedding venues, a Stanley's Farm Wedding.

Stanley's Old Maple Farm
Stanley's Old Maple Farm is a mixed outdoor indoor wedding venue in Ottawa that is extremely popular amongst our couples. Our NKIN Bride Aditi married the love of her life Nick at this Ottawa valley wedding valley.
One of our personal favourite features of this venue is the variety! "With over 9 acres of beautifully maintained grounds, Stanley’s offers a variety of scenic ceremony locations to suit every wedding style. From charming gardens and tree-lined pathways to open lawns and rustic countryside backdrops, each space provides a unique setting to bring your wedding vision to life." We love that Aditi and Nick picked this tucked away spot in the forest. It feels whimsical and fairy like among the trees.
This variety also allows for some stunning portraits, both for the Bride/Nearlywed solo shots and for the couple's photos. Looking at Aditi and Nick's photos it feels like they were at four different locations throughout the series of their photos.

Their all inclusive wedding features include farm-to-table catering, full bar, full ceremony set up, full reception set up, full use of decor inventory. We have yet to see two weddings look the same and we love how it makes every wedding feel unique to the couple. It doesn’t feel like a standard cookie cutter wedding! Aditi's Wedding Gown
We love that Aditi went FULL ballgown with her outdoor wedding venue. She chose the gown Pia by Madi Lane.

The intricate sporadic leaf and floral design fit into the whimsical forestry vibe of the wedding, but the hidden layer of sparkly tulle adds the special shimmer Aditi wanted! You can really see that sparkle and shimmer in the sundown photos. Again, taken under the fairly lights, another photoshoot location that has made it look like they are at another venue location.

All wedding gowns require some kind of wedding dress alteration. We offer in-house wedding alterations exclusively for our Brides. This dress required the basic alterations which are a hem, standard bodice, and strap adjustment.

Second Wedding Dress | Reception Space at Stanley's Old Maple Farm
We really have focused on the variety that Stanley's offers and that extends to their reception spaces. As a couple you are able to select from The Maples Hall and The Westenbroek Pavilion. Aditi and Nick selected Maples hall and we love everything that is offered.

In oder to dance the night away, Aditi slipped into a little white dress that has a similar vibe to her main ceremony gown! A v-neck lace number with a poofy ballgown tea length skirt. The ballgown looked FANTASTIC I think we can all agree, but when you think dancing and movement.. you don't think ballgown.
