Why we love Le Belvedere Wedding Venue
Le Belvedere is a favourite Ottawa wedding venue, although technically it is in Quebec funnily enough. About 45 minutes from Ottawa is nestled in one of the most naturally beautiful ceremony spaces you’ll get in the city or valley. Le belvederes ceremony pavilion will blow you away (literally), it’s the cliffside view of all of our collective dreams. You can see in these insanely beautiful photos from Allie Liko and Sophie Fortier that the wind was a paid actor. Her dress was nothing short of angelic.
One of our favourite types of photo to receive from Brides are the “getting ready” photos. They give us a small glimpse into what those final moments before walking down the aisle were like. Naturally, we love any venue that provides this kind of lodging space on property, but Le Belvedere's garden really matches the aesthetic of the rest of the venue. It’s clean, classic, and a perfect momentary escape before the madness of the wedding day begins. PLUS THEY HAVE AN EARLY CHECK IN OPTION, a huge bonus! Alexie’s Dress
Alexie was one of those Brides we knew from the moment we met her that we’d be sad to see her go. That’s one of the bittersweet parts of wedding days. No matter how incredible our relationship with our brides unfolds, there is an end date to our relationship :( Heartbreaking, I know!
Alexie’s dress was an easy pick! As soon as she put the dress on, we all knew it was the one. Spencer by Madi Lane was the dress of her dreams. The dress really does have everything we are looking for in a 2026 wedding dress: a cat eye neckline, a ruched bodice, and so much constructive boning. The typical alterations were done, a hem, bustle, bodice adjustments, on this dress by our lovely seamstress Junko in order to take it from dreamy to perfection!
